Mistover Halloween Dressage Show and Combined Test

Mistover hosted it’s annual 2 day Halloween Dressage Show and Combined Test on October 29- 30, 2005 and from the array of costumes it looked like a Hollywood movie set on horseback.

There were witches and Cossacks, Super-girls, Fairy and Indian princesses, Cinderella and her beautiful white four-legged “Pumpkin”, even the Headless Horsewoman showed up!  Mistover also got dressed-up for the occasion. There was a beautiful display o mums and pumpkins properly adorned with spiders and skeletons as well as one really awesome rubber rat! Thank you, Barbara Thanhauser!

Saturday’s weather turned quite windy and cool so, the hot chocolate and the delicious Italian wedding soup from The Feed Room fortified even the coldest judges and scribes. Sunday turned into a beautiful warm autumn day, perfect for trainer Jeannie Hannen to show off her skills as the stadium course designer and judge.

There was plenty of chocolate, laughter, consummate coordination and stellar horsemanship that made for a really great Halloween show. Many thanks to all our participants, parents, volunteers and Mistover staff for a weekend extraordinaire!
