Seeing and experiencing the world with our emotional center as well as with our logical mind opens us to endless possibilities. That intuitive sense, the heart of how we perceive and grow, is something we’re born with but may not trust. We can learn much from horses, who depend on that very intuitive sense of their environment to live. In this workshop, we will work with horses to help us rekindle and expand our innate abilities.  

Equine Facilitated Activities help us to: 

* Deepen awareness of personal issues.

* Help unblock areas of the body that are stressed.

* Move beyond surviving in a competitive world toward a mindset of thriving

* Foster compassion, innovation, energy adaptability, and creativity.

This is a non-riding workshop; no prior horse experience is required.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Kathleen Barry Ingram, MA, is a Tucson-based mentor, lecturer, educator, and consultant specializing in assisting individuals in personal and professional growth and Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL). A counselor for 30 years, she also co-created, developed, and implemented the Epona Apprenticeship program with author Linda Kohanov from 1998 to 2007.  James Cassese, LCSW and President of Equine Energetix, is a private psychotherapist in New York City, specializing in the treatment of survivors of trauma. A former Fulbright Scholar, he is on the faculty of the New York University Graduate School of Social Work, and provides consultancy and workshops in the U.S. and abroad.
